Laser hair removal

When using a razor or hair removal creams, the hair bulb is not destroyed, so the hair grows back repeatedly. The laser beam, on the other hand, penetrates directly into the root of the hair, where it is completely destroyed. A hair cannot grow back from a root that has been destroyed in this way. The result of laser hair removal is permanent hair reduction. Hair removal lasers work on the principle of selective photothermolysis – they produce light radiation of a certain wavelength, sensitive to the dye in the hair – melanin. Laser hair removal is not a one-time event. The laser affects the hair only in the active growth phase (anagen), not when it is at rest (telogen phase) or falling out.
