Thanks to the improved next-generation laser, the tattoo removal process is more efficient than any other system currently on the market and can remove dark tattoos quickly, without scarring, without damaging the surrounding tissue and with a short recovery time. Stellar M22™ uses a wavelength that absorbs dark tattoo pigments. Ultra-short nanosecond pulses from the laser break the tattoo pigment into small particles, which are then absorbed and removed by the human body’s natural lymphatic system. The laser beams only affect the dark pigment and do not damage the surrounding skin. This is the safest and most effective way to remove a tattoo.
Treatments with this device are quick, almost painless and simple, lasting only a few minutes. The results are visible already after the first session, and the possibility to undergo treatments at any time throughout the year, even in the summer, is also a benefit.
Tattoo removal is a longer process and it is important to be patient. It may take several months to see the desired results. This is approximately 2 to 10 treatments at monthly intervals, depending on the size and condition of the tattoo. It depends on your skin type, age of the tattoo, size of the tattoo, location, depth of the tattoo, ink used in the tattoo or your body’s natural ability to remove the ink/pigment.
After the treatment, the tattoo site is sensitive and laser-whitened on the surface, which means that the process of reducing the dark pigment begins in the skin. The skin may be slightly reddened, but this will disappear within a few hours. Immediately after the treatment, we apply a regenerating and soothing cream to the skin and cover it with a protective gauze. We do not recommend applying water to the place where the tattoo was removed during the day in order for the regenerative process of skin renewal to take place properly. We recommend applying a good quality cream with SPF and using a topical antibiotic ointment to speed up healing. It is also important to avoid saunas and massages (to prevent festering), not to touch the treated area, avoid scratching it and avoid exposing the treated area to sunlight for at least 6 weeks after the procedure.
