Visible veins on the lower limbs are removed with a modern Nd:YAG laser with continuous cooling. The effect of the laser is gradual. A visible effect usually comes after a few weeks.
After the procedure, the skin remains slightly red. Don’t be scared. At first, the capillaries may be accentuated or widened, and small scabs may form at the procedure sites. However, after a few weeks, the capillaries fade and gradually disappear.
The procedure is a bit painful. You may feel a slight stinging in more sensitive areas (face, thighs,…). Laser-removed capillaries disappear forever, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get more after time. If you start to develop them, we recommend treating and protecting your skin regularly.
The number of treatments depends on the number and size of capillaries.
