Fractional lasers belong to new trends in aesthetic dermatology and plastic surgery. The effect of a less invasive fractional photorejuvenation can be achieved by decreasing the energy levels. On the contrary, the effect of a whole-facial invasive resurfacing can be achieved by means of basic energy levels with a direct application on about 20% of the skin. This is coupled with a heavy repeated damage. In this case, the recovery time is also extended.
A smaller, one-strike impact on the skin and the shortened time of the regeneration of the skin enable to carry out the next treatment in a short period of time (3-4 weeks). During the treatment, the laser beam ‘evaporates’ a part of the skin and heats up the tissue deep below the surface. In this area new elastic collagen is created. The skin becomes softer, more elastic, wrinkles are significantly reduced and the skin tone is more compact.
The convalescence period after the fractional photorejuvenation treatment is 3-5 days, erythema (redness of the skin) 3-5 days, oedema (dropsy) 2-3 days.
The convalescence period after the micro fractional resurfacing is 5 days. In order to achieve a desired result, it is necessary to undergo 3 treatments in 1-2-month intervals. The number of the treatments depends on the condition of the skin before the treatment.
The actual procedure will be preceded by an in-person consultation. There is also a possibility to create photodocumentation. The treatment takes about 30 minutes and it is ambulatory.
